About the role
Nautilus Nigeria Engineering and Construction Limited (NNEC) provides engineering and project support services to the oil and gas industry, including conceptual design, front-end engineering, detail design, and as-built CADD drawings. The Operations - Maintenance Systems Specialist I will support maintenance systems, contract administration, and materials management to ensure reliable operations and compliance with safety, health, and environmental requirements.

Responsibilities
- Contribute to sustained reliability of operations in compliance with laws and regulations, eliminating potential safety, health, and environmental incidents.
- Maintain communications and interface with Operation, Maintenance, and Logistics organizations.
- Adhere to company oi System (oi) / Controls Integrity (CI) Systems and procedures and contribute to their review and improvement.
- Support Field Maintenance Unit personnel and provide guidance on procurement processes; maintain central contract files.
- Act as liaison between Field Unit and Procurement to ensure contracts and contractors are available for goods and services.
- Work closely with Procurement for contract renewal, award, resolutions, and follow-up action items.
- Help develop contract work scope based on information from Operations Function owners and Maintenance personnel; conduct technical pre-qualifications and assessments for new contracts.
- Have in-depth knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), proficient at entering and extracting data to support site maintenance needs.
- Order materials and replacement parts; document transactions and maintain inventory files; process invoices and coordinate payments.
