About the role

The Research Assistant will support nutrition and health research studies in Katsina State, Nigeria, managing digital data collection and statistical analysis.

Responsibilities
- Develop, programme, test and maintain electronic questionnaires using ODK or similar platforms
- Manage, clean, validate and secure research datasets
- Conduct data-quality checks and resolve discrepancies
- Use Stata or R to perform statistical and descriptive analyses
- Prepare reports, tables and charts
- Support field surveys, interviewer training, pilot testing and field monitoring
- Provide technical assistance and troubleshoot digital data-collection tools
- Maintain accurate research documentation and protect participant confidentiality
