Responsibilities
- Design, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot LAN/WAN infrastructure.
- Manage switches, routers, firewalls, wireless access points, VPNs, and other network devices.
- Implement network segmentation, VLANs, IP addressing, routing, and access-control policies.
- Maintain accurate network diagrams, IP documentation, device inventories, and configuration records.
- Proactively monitor network performance, availability, bandwidth, and connectivity.
- Diagnose and resolve network outages, slow connectivity, packet loss, DNS/DHCP issues.
- Manage and monitor primary and secondary Internet connections and coordinate with ISPs.
- Implement and maintain network security controls, firewall policies, VPNs, and access controls.
- Deploy, configure, and optimize corporate wireless networks.
- Participate in network infrastructure projects for new offices and facilities.
- Support network redundancy, failover, and disaster recovery exercises.
- Maintain network documentation and prepare regular performance reports.
- Provide advanced technical support and knowledge transfer to IT personnel.
