About the role

Rima Microfinance Bank, via development communication consultancy Ideas and People, is seeking a hands-on Head of IT & Digital Banking to take full technical ownership of its mobile banking app, middleware, cloud servers, source-code repositories, APIs and digital-banking integrations. This is a hands-on technical leadership role, not a general IT-support position.

Responsibilities

  • Take full technical ownership of the mobile banking app, middleware, cloud servers, source-code repositories, APIs and digital-banking integrations
  • Manage integrations with core banking systems, NIBSS, Interswitch and other payment providers
  • Independently diagnose transaction failures across app, middleware, core banking and payment rails
  • Administer Linux and Windows servers and maintain cloud infrastructure, databases, DevOps and CI/CD
  • Maintain source-code management using Git/GitHub
