About the role
Evidence Action is a non-profit organization launched in 2013 to scale proven, sustainable programs that benefit millions. It manages initiatives such as Dispensers for Safe Water and the Deworm the World Initiative. The Senior Associate, Program Data Analytics (PDA) for West and Central Africa (WCA) analyzes cleaned program data to generate insights, visualizations, and reports that inform program decisions. This role is part of the Data Analytics and Learning team within the broader Monitoring, Learning, and Evaluation (MLE) team, reporting to the Associate Manager, Program Data Analytics, and supervising an Associate.

Responsibilities
- Lead statistical analysis and generate reports, visualizations, and publications from cleaned program data
- Ensure information flow between program teams and MLE divisions on analytical findings
- Review and experiment with innovative visualization techniques
- Design and facilitate in-house mentorship and training sessions for MLE field teams
- Organize in-house MLE meetings and represent the department in internal and external engagements
- Run descriptive and inferential statistical analysis using Stata, R, or Python
- Translate program analytical needs to the MLE team and develop request tools
- Identify, prioritize, and communicate analytical requests
- Flag data anomalies or emerging trends to the Associate Manager
- Write and edit reports and presentations for target audiences
- Curate information from various sources to support program decisions
- Develop informative infographics for data-driven decision making
- Maintain oversight of MLE dashboards
- Empower MLE field officers to make quality presentations
- Extract learnings from analysis and research products
- Attend MLE and program meetings
- Manage productivity and professional development of at least one Associate
- Contribute to the program data analytics work plan
