Responsibilities
- Forecast material needs, manage inventory levels, and maintain Bill of Materials (BOM) integrity across engineering or infrastructure projects.
- Analyse usage history, lead times, and inventory data to maintain operational readiness across project sites.
- Manage vendor relationships, negotiate with suppliers for best cost and lead time, maintain supplier databases, and generate delivery schedules.
- Ensure data accuracy in MRP systems such as PARIC or equivalent ERP platforms and resolve system issues promptly.
- Liaise with clearing agents, customs officials, Nigeria Customs Service, and government agencies to prevent delivery delays, seizures, or demurrage.
- Manage Letter of Credit (LC) transactions, Form M processing, and full international trade compliance documentation.
- Prepare monthly performance reports and statistical analyses, and coordinate with Operations, Procurement, and Logistics stakeholders.
