About the role
Afripoint Group Limited is a global innovative company that leverages technology to drive businesses across borders. They are seeking a QA Testing Engineer Intern to join their Technology team in Lagos, Nigeria. The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of software testing and development processes, strong attention to detail, and an interest in identifying and resolving software defects. The successful candidate will work closely with developers, product managers and other team members to ensure that software products meet quality and functionality requirements.

Responsibilities
- Assist with test planning and test case development.
- Conduct manual testing to identify bugs, defects and functionality issues.
- Execute test cases and accurately document test results.
- Support the development and maintenance of automated test scripts.
- Perform regression testing following new code changes and product updates.
- Document and maintain QA records and testing reports.
- Log, track and follow up on identified issues using Jira or other issue-tracking tools.
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to investigate and resolve identified issues.
- Participate in software development and testing activities within Agile or other development environments.
- Assist with continuous improvement of testing processes and QA practices.
