About the role

The Programs Analyst will support the execution of public health programs from planning through implementation, monitoring, and reporting, based in Kano, Nigeria.

Responsibilities
- Support the execution of public health programs from planning through implementation, monitoring, and reporting
- Conduct literature reviews, desk research, and evidence synthesis to inform program design and technical outputs
- Assist in the preparation of technical deliverables, including proposals, reports, presentations, briefs, and knowledge products
- Support project monitoring by maintaining work plans, trackers, implementation records, and performance data
- Assist with research activities, including data collection, documentation, quality assurance, and study coordination
- Analyze and synthesize program and research data to identify trends and generate insights for evidence-based decision-making
- Support data collection, cleaning, and analysis for donor and client reporting
- Coordinate meetings, workshops, and stakeholder engagements, including logistics
- Document outcomes and follow up on actions arising from project activities
- Support the monitoring of program progress against agreed indicators and work plans
- Contribute to periodic reports, implementation updates, and client/donor communications
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with government agencies, partners, consultants, and other stakeholders in Kano and beyond
- Assist with client correspondence, meeting preparation, and follow-up
- Maintain organized, confidential project documentation in line with ACE's quality standards
- Provide technical, administrative, and operational support for organizational priorities and other assignments as required
