About the role
inq. is a global leading-edge solutions provider delivering innovative, business-relevant services in Edge AI and IoT, Fabric, SDN/NFV for Edge Cloud, Secure Access Services Edge, and Elastic Edge. The IT Support Officer is responsible for proactive monitoring of IT infrastructure and provides desktop support, LAN/Wireless connectivity, endpoint vulnerability and patch management, printer services, and quick provisioning of systems. The role also includes support services for other infrastructural platforms as stipulated by the IT Manager.

Responsibilities
- Provide helpdesk support to all users including installation and configuration of desktops and laptops.
- Ensure daily/monthly data backup across all INQ offices including Abuja and Port Harcourt, liaising with IT contact personnel.
- Provide IT support for Windows Operating Systems and Server Applications with RAID 1 & 5.
- Troubleshoot and resolve LAN/Wireless issues and ensure uptime availability of network printers.
- Install or modify existing installations of networked computer hardware, software, and other components.
- Maintain and ensure functionality of the firewall security aspect of IT security implementation.
- Monitor IT NetBoz EMS in all data centers and camera surveillance system uptime.
- Provide remote access support and system security updates across hardware and software platforms.
- Work with internal customers to activate services and assist with problem resolution.
- Track and manage IT inventory.
- Provide on-call and after-hours support.
