About the role
Growth in Value Alliance (GV Alliance) Partners is a business advisory and market intelligence services firm. Our objectives are to assist organizations to achieve their growth aspirations by providing market intelligence, strategy blueprint, IT solution delivery expertise and business operation improvement capabilities.
We are seeking an IT Security Analyst to provide operational support and management of security systems, ensuring KPIs are delivered within agreed SLAs. The role involves first- and second-level support, data integrity assurance, application support, and collaboration with the Group SOC and other IT units to enforce security best practices.

Responsibilities
- Operational support and management of security systems as listed in Appendix
- Ensure security system operates and KPIs are delivered within agreed SLAs, covering First- and Second-Level Support
- Assure delivery of business-critical real-time, hourly, daily, weekly, and monthly reports, including executive dashboards
- Ensure all processes run correctly and accurately, and data integrity in security systems is assured and aligned with inputs
- Manage and maintain operational processes, procedures, and checklists to ensure optimal performance and maximum availability of the platform and associated services
- Produce reports and dashboards for operational management purposes
- Engage daily with Group SOC to ensure information sent/received is accurate
- Provide corrective and preventive maintenance of the Security System, ad hoc and operational reporting, and deliver on all Service Requests and incidents logged through the client's Standard Trouble Ticketing Platform
- Manage application space and performance
- Ensure accurate and complete data available for the IT Security Team and downstream systems
- Participate in delivery of client's cybersecurity through vulnerability and threat identification, incident detection and response, forensic investigations, and patch and vulnerability management
- Engage with infrastructure and applications teams in mitigation and remediation efforts
- Engage with other IT units to establish and enforce security best practices, protection objectives and process improvements
- Review and make recommendations regarding on-prem, data centre, and cloud infrastructure, networking and security settings and posture
- Create and maintain key metrics that are indicative of the security posture of the client infrastructure
- Keep abreast of threat intelligence feeds, industry reports, and emerging threats that may affect the client
