About the role

Responsibilities
- Oversee installation, configuration, maintenance, and upgrade of computers, servers, networks, printers, and IT equipment
- Ensure availability and efficient operation of IT systems and business applications
- Monitor network performance, internet connectivity, and system reliability
- Maintain inventory of IT assets, software licenses, and equipment
- Implement and enforce IT security policies, access controls, and password management
- Protect systems against unauthorized access, malware, cyberattacks, and data loss
- Ensure regular data backups and test data recovery procedures
- Provide technical support to staff for hardware, software, network, and system issues
- Log, prioritize, and resolve IT incidents and service requests within agreed timelines
- Supervise, coordinate, and evaluate IT personnel performance
- Develop and implement IT strategies aligned with organizational objectives
- Plan and oversee IT projects, system upgrades, and technology deployments
- Prepare IT budgets, monitor expenditure, and ensure cost-effective use of resources
- Coordinate with vendors, ISPs, and external IT consultants
- Prepare regular reports on IT performance, incidents, maintenance, security, and project progress
- Develop and maintain IT disaster recovery and business continuity plans
