Responsibilities
- Identify, validate, and advocate adoption of suitable digital technologies and frameworks aligned with COMPANY's digital strategy.
- Lead architectural design and delivery of scalable, secure, resilient digital solutions for LBUs.
- Lead adoption and integration of cloud-native services on Microsoft Azure and design/implementation of on-premises infrastructure.
- Define and enforce DevOps framework and practices for IaC and CI/CD.
- Establish reliability and security of data sources for digital solutions.
- Manage technical/security risks and create mitigation and contingency strategies.
- Lead and direct software engineering team and third-party engineers across full product lifecycle.
- Act as technical authority providing architectural guidance and hands-on direction.
- Enforce engineering standards, design principles, and compliance with cybersecurity and regulatory requirements.
- Institutionalize best practices (Agile, DevOps, Continuous Delivery, automated testing, secure coding).
- Own engineering capability uplift plan through coaching, mentoring, and training.
- Engage stakeholders including product managers, owners, and business leaders.
- Provide transparent communication and reporting on technical risks and delivery performance.
- Champion innovation and operational excellence, reducing technical debt.
- Ensure post-deployment support for locally developed digital tools.
- Shape long-term product vision and digital transformation strategy.
