About the role
Ubulu Africa is a digital innovation hub committed to driving impactful digital innovation across Africa. We are looking for a Graphic Designer who combines strong creative judgement with the ability to understand information, solve communication problems, and deliver high-quality work across different formats. This is a senior delivery role at the heart of Ubulu Africa's programme function.

Responsibilities
- Maintain and strengthen Ubulu Africa's visual identity across programmes, products, campaigns, events, and organisational materials
- Develop visual identities and design systems for programmes, campaigns, events, and other initiatives
- Design communication materials for LinkedIn, Instagram, newsletters, websites, and other channels
- Design professional reports, proposals, presentations, concept notes, research outputs, and programme materials
- Turn complex information, data, research, and programme insights into clear diagrams, infographics, charts, frameworks, and other visual formats
- Develop product communication materials including explainers, feature announcements, launch materials, landing-page assets, and user journey visuals
- Design materials for workshops, conferences, webinars, innovation challenges, and other programme activities
- Build and maintain reusable templates, brand assets, and design resources for internal teams
- Work with Communications, Programmes, Product, and Leadership to interpret briefs and recommend effective visual solutions
- Manage multiple design requests, timelines, feedback, and priorities while maintaining quality and consistency
- Contribute creative thinking during programme, campaign, and product planning rather than only executing completed briefs
