About the role

The school is seeking a competent, experienced, proactive, and solutions-oriented ICT professional to manage its ICT infrastructure, support staff and students, maintain systems and equipment, and ensure reliable use of technology across the school.

Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain computers, network infrastructure, internet connectivity, printers, projectors, CCTV and other ICT equipment.
- Provide timely technical support to staff, students and management.
- Install, configure, update and troubleshoot hardware, software and operating systems.
- Monitor and maintain the school's network, Wi-Fi and internet systems.
- Ensure regular maintenance, security and proper functioning of ICT equipment.
- Manage user accounts, access permissions, data storage and backups.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network and connectivity issues.
- Support effective use of technology in teaching, learning and school administration.
- Assist with implementation and maintenance of school management systems and digital platforms.
- Provide ICT support during school events, meetings, examinations and presentations.
- Maintain accurate records of ICT assets, repairs, replacements and maintenance activities.
- Promote cybersecurity, responsible technology use and data protection practices.
- Train and guide staff and students on effective use of ICT tools and platforms.
- Recommend appropriate technology upgrades and improvements to management.
