About the role
Flutterwave is a leading African fintech company enabling global digital payments. The Data & Analytics Lead for Group Internal Audit is a strategic hybrid role combining audit and data engineering to build an AI-native internal audit function. You will design data pipelines, monitoring agents, and a live Assurance Dashboard to enable continuous assurance across payments and banking operations.

Responsibilities
- Design and deliver the data layer for continuous assurance, securing read-only access to production data
- Build and operate AI-powered monitoring agents for settlements, revenue assurance, API integrity, vendor spend, and privileged access
- Build and maintain the live Assurance Dashboard showing top risks, revenue leakage, findings, and fraud trends
- Assess data quality, completeness, and lineage; agree data ownership with business and technology teams
- Maintain model and agent inventory with documented logic, testing, and accuracy metrics
- Ensure data protection, privacy, and residency requirements in pipelines and agents
- Baseline and track outcome KPIs: revenue leakage identified, cost eliminated, losses prevented, controls automated
- Convert findings into quantified business value and report weekly to Head of Internal Audit
- Translate analytics results into clear exceptions for auditors and management
- Partner with Engineering, Data, Finance, Treasury, Compliance, Risk, Product, and IT
- Coach audit team in analytics and build data/AI capability
