About the role

The Client Analyst will manage assigned client relationships across the end-to-end client engagement value chain, coordinating the origination and execution of client-centric solutions while managing risk, delivering exceptional client experience, and contributing towards defined revenue targets.

Responsibilities
- Research, analyse and understand individual clients and assigned client portfolio in terms of business model, strategic levers, business drivers and financial metrics.
- Co-ordinate Client Service Team (CST) meetings; prepare logistics, agenda, and content management.
- Contribute to ideation and translate action points post-meeting into tangible opportunities.
- Compile client and portfolio information into reports, documents and dashboards on client engagement levels, sales activity, business pipeline and value proposition profitability.
- Provide input and recommendations into CSTs opportunity identification, budget planning and performance forecasting.
- Collate, interpret and present relevant information and data for tracking performance metrics that inform client, sector and market trends.
- Build client-centric, sustainable relationships with counterparts at the client to enable delivery of relevant SBG value propositions/solutions.
- Contribute client research, analysis, financial modelling and scenario planning towards preparation and delivery of materials (pitch books, RFPs, client presentations, case studies).
- Organise and attend client visits in support of the CC and broader CST; maintain ongoing client dialogue and support solutioning and cross-selling.
- Co-ordinate internal stakeholder sessions, prepare and present client information, and follow up on actions arising.
- Liaise with internal functions (Product lines, Operations, Credit Risk) to support day-to-day client relationship management and resolution of client escalations.
- Support the credit process and other relevant workflows between credit and coverage, including credit applications, NBAC for vanilla solutions, excess management resolution, and compliance-related issues.
- Track, monitor and review client financial performance, including information undertakings and covenant compliance, with appropriate recommendations to mitigate risk.
- Adhere to applicable CIB policies, systems, processes and procedures to ensure compliance with all relevant risk, regulatory and business control requirements.
- Provide on-the-job guidance to team members to enhance their understanding and application of the CIB value proposition, processes and standards.
