About the role
We are seeking an experienced Android / Device App Developer to join our team in Abuja. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and improving the dispenser Android application and its user interface, ensuring seamless integration with payment systems and various device peripherals.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Android application development, with experience in Kotlin and/or Java, and a proven track record of integrating applications with hardware devices. This is a full-time position reporting to the Product & Technology Manager.

Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and improve the dispenser Android application and user interface.
- Integrate payment systems, QR, RFID/NFC, camera, printer, and other device peripherals.
- Test application functionality and resolve bugs identified during development and field trials.
- Work closely with the Hardware and IT teams to support device and hardware integration.
- Investigate and resolve application issues reported from customers and field sites.
- Manage application releases, versioning, and updates to maintain reliable production performance.
- Ensure application changes meet required quality, functionality, and performance standards.
