About the role

Through our subsidiaries, Moniepoint Inc. processes over $250 billion in digital payment transaction value annually. As a UX researcher, you’ll be the ears of our product team. You’ll support our experienced researchers in uncovering the "why" behind user behaviours, helping us build products that truly make sense for people across Nigeria. This is a role for someone who is endlessly curious about how things work and wants to learn the craft of research from the ground up. You’ll play a vital part in our mission to bring financial happiness to everyone by ensuring our products remain simple, helpful, and relatable.

Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and carrying out qualitative and quantitative research studies (from interviews to surveys).
- Take charge of research logistics, including finding and scheduling participants for studies.
- Help facilitate interviews and usability testing sessions, capturing the key insights that matter.
- Support the team in turning raw data into easy-to-understand reports and frameworks like journey maps and personas.
- Maintain our research repository, ensuring our findings are organised and easy for the whole company to find.
- Collaborate with designers and product managers to ensure research happens at every stage of the build.
- Keep your finger on the pulse of new UX tools and methods, sharing what you learn with the wider team.
