About the role
XP Arena is a gaming and entertainment company based in Guzape, Abuja, building experiences for Nigeria's next generation of gamers. We operate a physical gaming arena where players come to participate in competitive prize tournaments in VR & Console games. We're currently building our first game title called XP StrikeOut. We also run an online gaming store for gift cards, game top-ups, and digital gaming products.
We're looking to hire a Software and Game Developer who will be part of the team building our upcoming mobile game title XP StrikeOut, our web platform, store, tournament systems, and player-facing tools.

Responsibilities
- Building XP StrikeOut Game and future XP Arena game titles.
- Building and improving the XP Arena web platform.
- Developing gameplay mechanics, game loops, scoring systems, and multiplayer features, and real-time game servers for high traffic tournaments.
- Connecting APIs, payments, analytics, WhatsApp flows, and backend services
- Improving performance, reliability, and user experience across our products
- Turning rough ideas into working products game players can actually enjoy to use.
- Creating tournament platform, registration flows, player dashboards, and admin tools
