About the role
Moniepoint is a financial technology company digitising Africa's real economy by building a financial ecosystem for businesses, providing payment, banking, credit and business management tools. As a Senior UX Researcher, you'll be the voice of users, shaping product strategy by uncovering deep insights into needs, behaviours, and aspirations of users, especially within Nigeria. You'll collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to ensure solutions are grounded in real-world market realities.

Responsibilities
- Lead and execute end-to-end qualitative and quantitative research across the product lifecycle—from discovery to delivery.
- Use a range of methods including in-depth interviews, ethnographic studies, usability testing, surveys, and diary studies, with a focus on the Nigerian context.
- Synthesise complex data into actionable insights and frameworks (personas, journey maps, mental models) that drive empathy across the team.
- Stay ahead of fintech and consumer trends in Nigeria and comparable markets through continuous landscape analysis.
- Partner with product managers, designers, and engineers to translate business challenges into research questions.
- Act as the subject matter expert on Nigerian user needs, guiding local expansion and regional growth across Africa.
- Structure and scale research operations, including participant management and maintaining organised research repositories.
- Present findings clearly to stakeholders at all levels to drive action and product improvements.
