About the role
Sun King designs, distributes, and finances solar home energy for the 1.8 billion people without reliable electricity. As the largest solar provider for off-grid homes in Africa and Asia, Sun King serves over 82 million customers across more than 40 countries.
The Senior Product Designer (UX Designer) will be based in Nairobi or Lagos and report to the Head of Product, Enterprise Products. This role owns the end-to-end experience of products used by customers, field agents, and staff teams — from sales and onboarding apps to payment and inventory management tools, plus the design system that unifies them. The design context is challenging: first-time smartphone users, low-end Android devices, patchy networks, and multiple languages. An AI-first approach to design is expected.
