About the role
Ark Capital is a finance-focused holding company and investment fund operating across multiple asset classes and portfolio companies. We deploy and manage capital across structured credit, private equity, and financial services — with a focus on data-driven decision making at every layer of the investment and operations process. We're building the internal data infrastructure that powers how we analyse deals, track portfolio performance, and monitor risk. This is a ground-floor opportunity to grow into that function.

- Writing Python scripts to clean, transform, and analyse financial datasets
- Building and maintaining simple data pipelines under guidance
- Generating reports and visualisations for portfolio and fund performance
- Querying and working with structured data in PostgreSQL
- Automating manual reporting tasks currently done in spreadsheets
- Learning financial concepts like credit, portfolio metrics, cash flow, as they apply to data work
