About the role
Cleva is on a mission to enable Africans across the world to effectively manage their money and build wealth by providing the flexibility to hold, grow, and move money in preferred currencies. We serve remote workers, professionals, migrants, and businesses across Africa. As a Mobile Engineer, you will build services and shape software operational excellence, working closely with the mobile team to create new experiences within the Cleva App using Flutter/Dart.

Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-quality Flutter applications for Android and iOS using Flutter.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver features that delight our users.
- Write unit, widget, and Maestro end-to-end tests to ensure code reliability and seamless user flows.
- Apply SOLID principles in day-to-day development to deliver robust and extensible code.
- Implement and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Fastlane for automated builds, testing, and deployment.
- Monitor app performance and optimize for speed, memory, and security.
- Participate in design and code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers.
