About the role
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Linux Server Administrator to oversee our core infrastructure. In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of our Linux-based servers, ensuring they remain secure, high-performing, and available around the clock. You will bridge the gap between infrastructure stability and deployment efficiency, playing a critical role in our technical operations.

Responsibilities
- Server Provisioning & Configuration: Deploy, configure, and maintain Linux servers across various environments (On-prem/Cloud).
- System Maintenance: Perform regular OS updates, kernel patching, and software upgrades to ensure system integrity.
- Security & Hardening: Implement robust security measures including firewall management (iptables/ufw), SSH policies, and strict adherence to the principle of least privilege.
- Performance Monitoring: Set up and manage monitoring and alerting systems to proactively identify bottlenecks and ensure high availability.
- Backup & Disaster Recovery: Design and execute reliable backup strategies and routine recovery testing to safeguard company data.
- Stack Management: Administer web and application stacks, specifically focusing on Nginx, Apache, and various database environments.
- Deployment Support: Assist in CI/CD pipeline management and support application deployments to ensure seamless transitions from staging to production.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and operational runbooks.
