About the role
Africa Hub for Innovation & Development (AHFID) is an NGO providing technical support to strengthen data quality, programme performance, and evidence-based decision-making across a Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) and Integrated Health Services programme.
The Graphic Designer will support the development, execution, and visual translation of AHFID's communication and brand strategies across digital and print platforms, contributing to campaign design, visual storytelling, and brand asset development.

Responsibilities
- Maintain and evolve AHFID's visual identity across digital and print.
- Ensure design consistency across campaigns, platforms, and teams.
- Build and maintain a scalable design system (templates, style guides).
- Design graphics for social media, email campaigns, presentations, reports, and events.
- Translate written content and data into visual formats such as infographics, one-pagers, and carousels.
- Partner with the communications team to design with the story.
- Stay current on design trends across social platforms and bring fresh formats proactively.
- Create short-form motion graphics and animated content for social and digital use.
- Adapt single designs across multiple formats and aspect ratios.
- Work closely with AHFID team and external vendors on larger productions.
- Take feedback constructively and iterate efficiently.
- Organize and maintain a clean, accessible archive of design files and brand assets.
