About the role
Athena Institute of Business and Technology (AIBT) is building Africa's next generation of business, policy, and tech leaders through flexible, practical, and impact-driven learning. They are seeking a creative, innovative, and detail-oriented Graphic Designer, Video Editor & Motion Graphics Designer to develop compelling visual content that communicates the organization's brand message, engages target audiences, and supports marketing, communication, and business development objectives.

Responsibilities
- Design creative graphics for digital marketing, social media, websites, presentations, advertisements, and promotional materials
- Develop branded visual assets including banners, brochures, flyers, posters, infographics, and presentations
- Maintain brand consistency across all visual communication materials
- Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to conceptualize and execute creative campaigns
- Prepare production-ready artwork for digital publication and print
- Edit raw video footage into polished, engaging video content for marketing and social media
- Select and arrange footage, apply transitions, synchronize audio, perform colour correction, and enhance sound quality
- Create short-form videos, reels, promotional videos, interviews, event highlights, and testimonials
- Incorporate subtitles, captions, background music, and sound effects
- Design and animate motion graphics, animated titles, logo reveals, lower thirds, and transitions
- Create animated explainer videos, promotional animations, and branded video content
- Develop storyboards and visual concepts for motion graphics projects
- Interpret creative briefs and translate business objectives into effective visual content
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality standards
- Review creative work, incorporate feedback, and make revisions
- Keep up to date with design trends, video production techniques, and emerging creative technologies
