About the role
GV Alliance Partners Limited is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to join their team in Lagos, Nigeria. The role focuses on integrating security into all stages of DevOps projects, collaborating with security and operations teams to limit risks. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, and automation, and will work in an Agile environment to deliver end-to-end deployment, monitoring, and infrastructure management.

Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on technical expertise and support in general DevOps tasks.
- Define and implement build, deployment, and monitoring standards.
- Be part of Agile development teams to deliver end-to-end automation of deployment, monitoring, and infrastructure management in a cloud environment.
- Build and configure delivery environments supporting CI/CD tools using Agile methodology.
- Create scripts and/or templates to automate infrastructure provisioning and management tasks.
- Work closely with development team to create automated CI/CD system.
- Collaborate with vendors and IT personnel for problem resolution.
- Monitor and support all installed systems and infrastructure.
- Develop custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower human intervention.
- Contribute to the design of information and operational support systems.
- Organize high levels of systems and infrastructure availability, acting proactively.
- Install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems, application software, and system management tools.
- Oversee security, backup, and redundancy strategies.
- Evaluate application performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions with developers.
- Mentor junior infra engineers and evangelize good security habits and secure development practices.
