About the role
Phillips Outsourcing Limited has been in existence for over 18 years, with vast experience in the outsourcing business, managing resources for major clients across all sectors of the Nigerian economy. We are recruiting a Database Administrator (SQL Server) – Fund Fusion to manage, maintain, and optimize Microsoft SQL Server databases while providing technical support for the Fund Fusion application within a financial services environment.

Responsibilities
- Administer, monitor, and optimize Microsoft SQL Server databases to ensure high performance, availability, and reliability.
- Perform database performance tuning, backup, recovery, and disaster recovery testing.
- Administer and support the Fund Fusion application, including troubleshooting, updates, patches, and configuration management.
- Collaborate with the application vendor (CVI) on issue resolution, upgrades, and system enhancements.
- Implement and maintain database security, user access controls, and compliance with security standards.
- Develop and maintain reports using SSRS or equivalent reporting tools and automate reporting processes where applicable.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and user guides.
- Provide second-level support, user training, and technical guidance on database and Fund Fusion best practices.
