- Build robust pipelines to ingest data from a variety of sources
- Continuously improve and maintain ETL/ELT processes, ensuring clearly defined and highly usable tables
- Ensure code committed by other data departments meets good standards
- Perform optimizations to keep processing costs controlled
- Build orchestration, version control, and lineage systems to identify bottlenecks and ensure robust CI/CD
- Translate non-technical requirements into hard actions
- Work with engineers to establish the right way to use generated data
