About the role

We are seeking a knowledgeable and passionate Cybersecurity Tutor to join our training team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in cybersecurity, hands‑on experience with industry‑standard tools, and the ability to teach and mentor students effectively. You will play a key role in preparing learners for real‑world cybersecurity roles and professional certification exams. Job Responsibilities Deliver engaging lessons on network security, ethical hacking, digital forensics, and other core cybersecurity topics. Provide hands‑on training using tools such as Wireshark, Metasploit, Kali Linux, and other security platforms. Develop, update, and maintain training materials, lab exercises, slides, and online course content. Guide students through practical cybersecurity tasks, simulations, and real‑world scenarios. Evaluate student performance through assignments, assessments, and practical labs. Offer mentorship and career guidance, helping students understand industry pathways and certification options. Stay updated with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies to ensure training content remains current. Maintain a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages student growth and confidence. Job Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field. Mandatory professional certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, CISSP, or equivalent. 2–4 years of professional experience in cybersecurity or information security. Strong understanding of network security, cryptography, risk assessment, and security best practices. Prior teaching, tutoring, or technical mentoring experience is an added advantage. Proficiency with cybersecurity tools, Linux terminal operations, and penetration testing frameworks. Excellent communication skills and the ability to simplify complex technical concepts.
