About the role

They are seeking an experienced Automation Manager to lead the design, implementation, governance, and continuous improvement of automation systems and AI-powered workflows across the organisation. The role is full-time and onsite in Lagos, Nigeria, offering ₦750,000 - ₦1,000,000 per month.

Responsibilities
- Lead all automation initiatives across the organisation, monitoring projects at development, testing, and production stages.
- Develop, maintain, and periodically review the automation roadmap in alignment with business objectives.
- Manage the entire automation lifecycle from requirements gathering to implementation, testing, deployment, and optimisation.
- Oversee the design, development, testing, and deployment of AI-powered workflows across customer onboarding, collections, engagement, and operations.
- Ensure production workflows have documented SOPs, escalation procedures, and tested rollback plans.
- Maintain a centralised, version-controlled knowledge base for automation workflows and technical documentation.
- Lead and manage automation and AI systems personnel, setting performance objectives and conducting reviews.
- Prepare and present monthly automation reports to executive management.
- Manage the automation technology stack, vendor relationships, and third-party integrations.
- Ensure production systems meet reliability, security, and compliance standards; lead incident response with a 30-minute restoration target.
- Conduct root cause analyses and regular workflow audits to identify errors, inefficiencies, and security gaps.
