About the role
HireMango is a US-based talent platform connecting top global professionals with US companies. We are building an AI-native intelligence platform—and data is the engine that powers everything we build.
This is a founding-level AI Data Engineer role, reporting directly to the CEO and co-founder. You will design and build the data infrastructure and AI systems that make HireMango smarter over time.

Responsibilities
- Design and build production data pipelines on GCP that structure, clean, and improve our data
- Define the data strategy — what to capture, how to capture it, how to make it usable
- Apply statistical rigor to evaluate data quality and model performance
- Use LLMs to extract meaningful signals from unstructured data (notes, transcripts, feedback) and turn them into scores and predictions
- Build AI-powered systems that improve how we match talent and understand performance
- Ensure data quality and reliability so the engineering team can build confidently on top of what you create
- Build observability into all data systems — quality, accuracy, pipeline health
